Will this setup work?

Will a 9918 with a feigao 8xl work on this truck?

My truck: 16 NIMH cells, all aluminum (UE), weighs alot (4 servos and a reciever battery made of GP 3300 i'm guessing 12-14.5 lbs as for my scale only goes up to 10 lbs), all metal tranny (ultramaxx), big 7 foot tall tires (imex K-rock).

Also, if i use 4mm gold bullet connectors for my battery connection to the esc, will that be a suficient replacment (compared to deans)?
Just wondering because if i use gold bullets, i can cut down my wire length from batts to esc down to about 4.5 inches!

Also, does schulze have a repair service? Because i just burnt out my 18.97 and i don't want to pay $300 for a new one. If you know if they can repair it for like 100 that would be great. My esc is in perfect condition, except for one time a puff of smoke came out of it and i never tried to run it again. But it looks perfect cosmetically, except it smells burnt...but i think it would be fixable. Would it?
