My 1521/1Y has pulled a max of 169A and the 1527/1D will go over that with no problem. This is the only reason why I still haven't put the 1527/1.5Y in my truck. I might go with one of my Aveox that is the same size as a Neu 1515 just to spare my drive train.
ahhh... hi AMP, so i guess that rules out the Phoenix ESC's. I think they're only rated upto 140 amp bursts (Phoenix-110) That MGM you linked to would do the job.

yes, the drivetrain would be the problem, especially on a maxx, i'm thinking the slipper and the input/output shafts would be the hardest hit. What parts are you breaking with the 1521 Lutach?

Are Flightpower cells the same as NeuEnergy cells, both Enerland??

Thanks for the input Lutach, really appreciate it!!
