UBEC wiring

Is it ok to wire the ubec to one battery using a set of deans plugs as a bridge from the battery and esc? Or should I hardwire from both plugs coming from the esc? Red from one plug and black to the other?


Or, let me put it this way -- what's the best way to wire the ubec on a 9920 or the 16016? With a 4s lipo will I need ubec on the 16016? Experimenting with my 9920 I managed to cook the shrink off it while the truck ran herky-jerky at full throttle....:eek: I musta done sumptin wrong....
