Couple of Bl questions - 11.02.2008, 06:50 AM

Just a couple of questions. Firstly what set up would be more reliable to run on a large block of land at high speeds often reaching 55-60mph on a truggy. Reliable meaning cool running, less stress on motor and esc. A single MMM on 6s and single motor, or a Dual MM with dual motors and two 4s lipos? (Please don’t say 8s single setup, I’m well aware). I’m guessing the dual setup would be more reliable. Would it be significantly or only marginally more reliable?

Secondly, is it possible to gear a car with a 12l motor high enough to match the speed of a car with a 7l motor, given that they are both running the same voltage?

Thanks
