I ran the stock 3905 diffs with 6s and my 1515 2.5d with no issues. The old 3906 diffs I blew out with the titans, so there is a world of difference. I think the extra support and shimming made the difference, as once I shimmed the 3906 diffs properly they were virtually problem free.

My opinion with the 3906 is keep it cheap and only upgrade to 3905 parts, anything else is a money pit and futile at best.

Ask Mike (mkrusedc) and he can tell you, lol!
