The Jasper savage! :D

I bought about 3 months ago an second hands savage from a guy out of my country, Holland :D

It comes with:

- Dual disk brake
- Spider diff, fron/rear
- HD center cups and dogbones
- Stock HPI servo for steering and braking

With some extra parts:

Then I ordered some stuff from Mike:

- Feigao 7XL
- Warrior 9920
- Dace 23mm hexes
- Hummvee urban body
- Pro-line bowtie 40 serie
- Pro-line white wabash HD 40 serie rims

I bought via the German ebay some 5,5mm gold plugs.

Then I began to polish all the purple anodized parts on my truck.

The difference between polishing and not polishing.

After that I went to a aluminium shop in my village and bought some aluminium. The U vorm is 40x40x4mm. I drilled some holes in it to attach it to the chassis. The accutrays are hanging so low as possible for extra low CG.

The worst off the savage is the radio box! I really don't like this big, ugly thing! So I build my own steeringbox from a plate of 2mm aluminium and a chassis brace from HPI.

O yeah!!! The magic stuff arrives!

I put some rubber stuff (in Holland we use this to make pools in your own garden, not for swimming) on the accu tray. So the batterys will not deadshorted

The esc arrives!

I made a motormount for the 7XL motor:

The esc gets a save place under a U form from 1mm aluminium

Here are the first looks. Ignore the wires :p

I bought some very special foam tires, the Pro-line Jaco's from an RC freak out of Holland!
