5S Lipo setup in a Mini E-revo

I was having a discussion with a friend (coolhand_country) and we were talking setups for the mini E-revo, I said for 5s i would use a 1200 to a 1500kv motor and gear to the speed i wanted (around 35 tops) he said should go 2000 to 2200 kv and gear lower. I want your opinions, I know all the theories and the differences, I'm not worried about that I'm just wondering what others would do with this setup. The plan is for 5s with a quark 33 amp pro-car esc, My motor of choice will be a medusa V2 afterburner 28mmX32MM 1500kv
