How are the Rx8 & T8's holding up?

Dead ESC was clearly because of the abuse, however something can be probably done to make the ESC shock proof

However I dont like the way T8 motors are made. ton of small metal plates pressed together.
Is not there a better way to design the rotor?

No idea how Neu motors are made, but i never seen a Neu motor fail in Czech Republic.

For 1/8 scale racers few dollars more for more reliable motor should not be an issue as T8 motors are $170 and Neu 1415 is just $180
