Ok, so about a month ago I ordered a 1412/1.5/Y NEU from Castles site. I ordered this model because I wanted a 1350kv motor. According to the motor chart AT THE TIME I ORDERED the motor 1412/1.5/Y was 1350kv. So as I waited for the motor I sold my 5s packs and picked up two 6s packs for the lower kv.
Here's where I am about to pull my freakn hair out and not even try to sell any of my rc and just chunk it in a dumpster. I had a bad run with a couple motors and a couple wrong kv choices. I said NEU is said to be the best, they are the best motors I've ever run so I bought another. I just checked the chart on both Castle's site and NEU's site and NOW according to the chart the 1412/1.5/Y is 1850kv. So if it is now I'm screwed again, this puts me in the 41,000 rpm range and way faster than I want, I mean my god the money I have basically flushed down the toilet is ridiculous, I just want to enjoy driving my buggy.
So what gives, is the NEU 1412/1.5/Y 1850kv or 1350kv? I know I'm not seeing things, that chart originally said 1412/1.5/Y was 1350kv, I probably checked it five times before I ordered, I would bet $1000.00 that it originally said 1350kv. And if the 1412/1.5/Y really is 1850 kv then thanks for screwing me over.
I'm so pissed right now I don't even know what to say anymore. Yet another weekend of missed racing. Guess I have a bunch of rc CRAP for sale.
