The plot thickens..
Normally, the worst you expect to find with FLM parts is that the recesses for bearings arent quite deep enough, causing binding issues with things like the 3906 tranny case and hybrid bulks; your issue looks like they packed the wrong parts rather than them being not finished correctly. Fingers crossed for you
