I hear ya, but selling my DX3S and the 10 Receivers to buy another TX and 10 RX's to have a light display, definitely not practical.

Here's an interesting tidbit for ya Bondo. I don't know much about the charger in question, but all you would need for this is some operating voltage in the proper range.

I have one of these in front of me. They are very bright. This strip comes to you a meter at a time. Within this meter, are 60 bright little boogers. Divided into groups of 3, they can be cut and used.

Cut, Wire it up, then all you have to do is figure out where to stick it. LOL

It's only about 3mm thick.

If your charger uses 12 volts as a power supply, wire it up to that. If your charger is getting power, then it's display is lit up.

Crap! I just realized you're talking a transmitter? Right? LOL

I'm not going to edit this. Now you can do your charger too if you wanna.
Great you caught this, saves me from having to break your balls.
Wounderful suggestion Sir !
Me and a buddy bought several different kinds of Plane/Heli LEDs from HC, when I get them I surely will look into cutting some up. I should be able to tap into the TX's Lipo (3s 800mah w/Castle Voltage regulator) for the juice I need.
I am adventurous about doing stuff like this but a tick hesitant to mod my 250.00 TX even more ? The price to pay for uniqness I reckon ?

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.
