Well word was that Novak was coming out with some 1/8 motors. I'll wait and see what that is all about.
With sensored you have better startups with taller gearing/high rollout ratio. Tekin has a boost too for their 1/8 lower kv motors. Right now the RX8 is super smooth even with my 47/23 gearing in sensorless. My other GTP which has the 4000kv motor, starts up good with 51/25 gearing. But when I dragraced it, I had 51/18 in there with the 4000kv motor. Instant starts with the RX8 without sensors. Sensored is not really needed for what I do. Sensored is good for those boost+turbo running folks with their roar motors. GTP-Pletty Big Maxximum+RX8. GTP-C50-6L Hacker+RX8.
