Castle link not reading a NEW old MM

Just pulled a MM out of the box to update and use only to find out the castle link does'nt work. I got this from castle as a replacement for one that fried a while back. I set it up with the castle link when I got it and boxxed it as a spare. Now it does'nt link up. The cc-bec linked up but not the controller. Just a little mad that I will have to shell out more $$ for something that has never been used. Funny my pc dings when I plug it in as it sees something being plugged in but the castle link sees nothing. Sorry for the rant but I'm really P.O.ed
