It's especially funny that I'm seeing this now.

The other day I was thinking how I could make a truck that does front flips on command (since with BL you can do back flips on command). The idea I came up with was to have a flywheel in the front-ish center of the truck spinning really fast and then use a clutch to couple that rotational force directly to the chassis.

That's effectively what happened here except the motor and driveline acted as the flywheel, and the blown rotor was the clutch.
