Mounting Buggy Tires? - 03.07.2012, 04:00 PM

I have a Losi Ten-T and I'm running 17mm buggy rims on it.

I'm in the process of mounting a new set of Proline Badlands onto Odonnell spoked rims.

I've taped these tires on the inside with black Gorilla tape. When I taped when I used a full width piece of Gorilla tape. Now that I'm trying to mount the tires it seems like they are bowing out on the side making it hard for the tire to sit down flush against the rim.

If you have tapped your offroad buggy tires please let me know if you've used a full width piece of Gorilla tape ordid you cut the tape so that the tape was skinnier?

Thanks for the help,
Nick
