Pay it forward - Help my school design and build a RC car - donate parts!

Hey guys! I haven't been posting much, just lurking. I am involved in a school project for my Mechanical Engineering RC Baja Team. Basically we are building a car from scratch but need a few things to get started and have a very limited budget. I know I have a lot of old parts but didn't have enough to get started. Basically we're looking for the following:

-1/8 scale diff parts - spur gears, ring gears, spider gears, diff cup, etc. Some of these will be used, some will be for mockup and reference. Buggy and truggy versions alike!

-1/8 scale shocks - front or rear, we can use both

-1/8 scale spindles, drive hubs, etc

-anything else you want to donate!


Last year we placed 4th because we didn't have enough time to design and fabricate a differential. So this year I'm in charge of the design and fab of the three diffs on the car. It's all 1/8 scale based and will be drawn up in AutoCAD and made using what little machinery we have here on campus.
