Sidewinder LVC kicking in when LVC disabled?

I was doing some testing with my new crawler and a sidewinder sv2 in brushed reversing mode.

3s 2200mah
~3.75v/c starting voltage(storage charge)
Lipo cutoff was disabled

After 2-3 min the esc went into LVC(green/yellow flashing).
Unplug/replug and it worked fine for another 2-3 min.
Verified with CC link that LVC was disabled.
Turned LVC on at 4v and ran for 10-15min without issue.
