The only problem I have run into is that sometimes the spur gear can rub on the face of the diff housing. Some cars did it and some didn't. This is easily resolved by adding a small shim on the diff against the bearing so that it spaces it away from the housing. No big deal and the diff works perfect. I have done 4 cars this way (2-Hyper 7's, 1-hyper 8, 1- K-3)and none have any issues.
