For maximum ground clearance you need to position the shocks as far to the center of the truck as possible. I don't know what towers you use.

It's not bad when a truck bottoms out on a jump, as long as skids touch the ground, your shocktowers/shocks/bulks will be safe.


With the powerstrokes however; the deeper the by-pass shock is compressed, the 'thicker' the oil gets. (the harder the damping)

so with the powerstrokes you need to find a position that puts the skids to the ground if you press the truck down, while the shocks are almost at an end. (then you have got the full effect of the powerstrokes by-pass shocks)

the springs included in the set are known as medium. not the softest, and not the stiffest.. the sit between the stiff and the soft once, while there still is an 'ultra stiff'

So out of 4, they are number 2 on the list, while 1 is the softest and 4 the stiffest.
