8XL, Mamba Max or Quark 125 Pro and heat

I have a MM& 8xl and have had no heat issues whatsoever, at least from the ESC. The big factor is having a small fan on the ESC. I have a 5V 25mm fan and that's enough to keep it under 130F, even in 90* heat. Else the temps were 160-170. The motor tended to run 160-170.

I've only ever thermalled once, that was running WOT through long wet grass in hot Aug heat. MM is great for 4S setups.
