I'd say dual 1930's with Mamba Max ESC's running off of 4S each. Should be plenty powerful :)

WOW... two plett's, I wish I had one :017:

Well, I guess two motors may seem asthetically pleasing but its functionally un-neccessary and un-warranted. Besides, what does asthetics matter when the body cover's everything up?
Two BL systems will increase a few things though. They will increase the initial cost, increase the maintenance, increase the weight, and increase the possible failure points. The one thing it won't increase is the performance.

A single motor setup will simply out perform a dual motor setup any day of the week

I agree w/ serum... dual motor setup is not an ideal solution IMO. It adds a ton of complexity to the whole setup, not to mention weight and wires all over the place. It will look like a very symmetrical spaghetti bowl :005:

A simple, clean setup can be a very beautiful thing as well. I would focus more on quality than quantity.

If you are looking at Lehner motors, the 1940 is more than enough in single format. Dual 1940's would do nothing except shred gears. Cant go very fast with shreded gears.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I agree with Starscream and Jhautz.

I take simplicity over symetry any day. But I never understood this shelf queen thing anyway.

And with no gain in performance, the decision is obvious to me.

Efficiency is the most important factor when you want to actually run your BL truck.

all true, but,on the other hand, two MM escs can handle twice the power of one,and since there's a shortage of high power controllers, sharing the work load between two doesn't seem like the worst idea.
