Well, the higher you put the motor on the spur, the higher the COG. Other than that, I don't think it makes a difference as long as the mesh can be adjusted properly. With the Revo mount, having the motor sit too high will make the mesh impossible since you'll be closer to the top of the spur instead of the side of the spur. You'd have to do some creative modding to get it to work. At that point, might as well go with a L setup IMO...
