I'm using the stock AE radio and receiver that came with the truck when it was a nitro RTR.

OK, did you set the trim to centered and EPA to 100% (if available)? When calibrating the ESC, it needs to see a certain range of throttle throw. So, if you have the trim off center and/or EPA set funny, it might not want to calibrate.

This is the radio that I have, I have tried it a bunch of different ways and I'm still getting the same result. I'm sure its just me doing something wrong.
