I believe that esc was deisgned to be a perfect match for the Plettenberg Bigmaxximum, so a motor of similar specs would be ideal.

i've read lots of threads(thanks guys) about the big maxximum and serum himself states equal performance from a 7xl at 1/4 of the cost, so you indirectly answered my question, i'm going with a 7xl from fine design cause blue matches my trucks color scheme, can't wait to show you guys, an r/c solutions extended cybermaxx t-maxx chassis w/ cage and a schulze 18.97 kwf with I guess a 7xl on 5s lipo! I wanna run a slipperential what's taking so long??? is anybody reading this????? I need brushless help in minnesota!!!!!!!!!!!
