What batts are those? Those are impressive #'s.

I will actually start distributing those lipos after I'm done with the abuse. I'll try to get around 50 cycles on them before I make a decision. I'm still trying to figure out a name for them or I should just go as is without a brand name and just offer great cells and put at nice price and warranty on them. They come in 3 voltage range: 7.4, 11.1 and 14.8V. I don't want to jump on this right away and have problems later on like some other companies are having.

Thanks for following up with this thread and the data. For the kinda work that I do.... "you are just another opinion without data".

Just came back from running the truck with the MM. Well let me start by saying the weather was a bit cooler than yesterday's run with the MGM. It is around 74 degrees and everything was just perfect. I ran the truck for over 10 minutes and stopped for a while, because of a spectator LOL. The MM was warm and the batteries was around 90 degrees. Now I said everything was just perfect and that "was" is due to the darn DPR-II-150 not recording the run at all. Came home, plugged it to the USB port, opened the program and got slammed with a "No mission data available". I wouldn't mind if the truck wasn't performing good, but it was just too good of a test that this had to happened. The Aveox took a beating and it was hot after the run. This truck did some nice wheelies, full throttle and hard braking. Tomorrow I will run it again and hope that the DPR will record some data.

The 5000mAh packs are here!!!! - 09.06.2007, 01:54 PM

Good news folks. The 5000mAh packs are here (2 7.4V and 2 11.1V) and so is a really nice small 1600mAh pack that was sent with the big packs for me to try out in my Xray M18. I soldered some deans before I went to get my daughter from school and I guess one of the plugs went bad. It kink of freaked me out as it read 7.65v when I plugged to my AF109 and then it went down fast. I got my alligator clips out and found out it was the deans and not the pack. The 5000mAh packs come with 10GA wires and they are very good quality wires too. I will run the 2 7.4v tomorrow with the MGM 16016-3s and hopefully the DPR will record some data.

Did a good run today with the new 5000mAh 7.4v packs. Good thing the DPR-II-150 worked this time. I only ran it for 8 minutes or so. The MGM TMM 16016-3s ran smooth and cool. The packs were also cool and the Aveox was cooler than yesterday. This thread is turning out to be a battery test session than a comparison of ESC. I have to give my hands to MGM on making an incredible software for the controller. I have it set up on the following modes:

A: 3 (Car mode one way)
B: 1 (Light)
C: 1 (0.13 sec.)
D: 1 (Automatic)
E: 1 (Slow reduce rpm)
F: 1 (NiCd, NiMH)
G: 1 (3%)
H: 2 (Yes)
I: 2 (Yes)
J: 1 (No)

The other setting that I tried made the ESC act funny specially the J set to very light, it didn't feel very light to me LOL. Here is the data of this run.
