I have a MM/VXL motor setup in my Rusty and it runs poorly. It's almost like I have a brushed motor because the VXL motor has a slight drag brake to it. I thought it was just me and put my 4600 motor in there and no drag. I also get close to an hour of runtime with my 4600 and only 35 minutes with the VXL. Weird.

I had a similar issue with my vxl rustler, very poor runtimes, its like the motor just sucks up the battery power and loses it in heat! My cheapy feigao 12s motor performs way better, more power and 2x the runtimes. I sold the rustler, just was not worth it. I have heard that others really like their vxls. Maybe I had a bad one, or just have a different view of how brushless should work!
