I don't really think you need a heatsink, or fans for that matter, on a Lehner.

I typed 40mm for some reason (it was 2am at the time), but they are actually 25mmx25mm, I had heatsinks exactly the same from 3racing- I still got a couple of the fans and they are the same size.

I think Brian must have had an 'incident' involving a fan when he was a child, hence why he hates them so much....

Not at all. I just think using fans is a way to compensate for undersized/overworked components. Plus, it adds wiring complexity and weight (albeit not much). I just feel a properly designed system shouldn't need them. All of my systems, except maybe the XL motor on my Revo, and the undersized 4600 on my CRT.5, run perfectly fine without fans while maintaining temps in the 130's.

I have one of the single ones. They are junk. The thin aluminum bends easy. The fans are cheap and break.

Even with a Quark. Both of mine have the internal mod done with a little extra heatsinking and they run perfectly fine, even to my standards.
