Yes I can see the dead space there. It just looks like the tranny mounts on the two chassis' are in the same place with respect to F/R placement. I'm not a Savage know-all so it would help to see a TF chassis with the tranny installed. I will eventually buy a MT and it will probably be a Savage because I like their reputation for durability.

This looks great! I'm really interested in one. I have a savage roller just sitting here with the intent to convert it and it looks like I'll get this kit. Any ETA yet?
