8T Update - 01.15.2008, 11:14 AM

I thought i would post an update on the 8T. I have never had this much trouble in my life with a race rc. This thing is really killing me. After a broken home made battery tray that put me out of a race, to the Quark Monster disaster during practice 2 weeks ago, I was starting to think this dang thing may not make it through a race weekend.

I have installed a new Schulze speed control. I really like this thing. It is super smooth and easy to program. Time will tell if it race worthy and up to the race trauma/beatings. I may mount a fan on the under side of the top plate but going to do some practice at race pace and monitor temps closely....

Here are a couple shots:

I like the way the plastic tray looks, but I like the metal tray for the protection that it renders. If your battery has a meltdown as least it will not destry your car or the electronics do to the shielding the aluminum tray provides. Good work on both vehicles guys. I also like the way that monster pro 125 looks with the RCM heatsinc and dual fans. NICE!!
