Don't the traxxas cvd's and sliders both use the same outdrive since they're both made to fit traxxas diffs? So if you have both you may as well try both and see which you like better.
You could put the sliders on the front since they don't need to be as strong and use the cvd's on the rear. Then you have a spare set.

The 3.3 use a stub out put and the cvd's use a cup for the dogbone.

Thanks for all the input. I think I'll install the stub and start with the 3.3.

Do you have a picture? I don't really understand the problem, don't the traxxas cups for the dogbone (not the outdrives that come with the HB diffs), fit to the diff output the same way the sliders do, since they're both made to fit traxxas diffs they should be similar. Either way you'd have to use Mike's stub adapter things.

They both use a stub output. Try it with the Mike' adapters and the traxxas cups that come with the traxxas cvd's. NOT the HB outdrives.
I've seen that picture, but it's not what I wanted to see. I want to see a picture of of the reason your not using the traxxas cups on the stub output.
Do you know what I'm trying to get at now. Please tell me you get my point now.

Hopefully it will work better with the stub outputs and traxxas cups.
