But its not bulk buy, its just mass production of the design. If I recall correctly, I heard somewhere that the "Castle Neu's" were going to be machine wound, while actual Neu's are obviously hand wound. This will be the discerning factor for quality. I'm sure other than the winding, most other things will be very similar.

Forgive my ignorance, but why would machine winding be much worse than hand winding? Seems like most machine produced items are made as well or better than if done by hand, like milling and automotive welding. I am sure there is some reason, but not one that I can see.
