That will be a nice conversion. The Mega is a nice motor. You can also use lower capacity packs like the 2200 or 2500mAh.

I think it sounds good. I havent tried a Mega motor yet so I'm interested to hear how it goes. I am wondering if the Quark 80 is enough for a truggy though. I have been running one in a 1/8 buggy on 5s with a Neu 1512/2.5d for a while and had no issues at all, but it seems that a truggy would be a little heavier. It just might be OK, but my first instinct is that its a little small and I would look for something a little bigger.

Cant wait to see the build photos.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Lutach= That Is crazy powerful! I was worried about you using a Shulze ESC since they catch fire until i heard you mention something about it and I laughed. Good luck and happy driving with your setup!

It's fine with the Mega . The system runs nice and cool. I might be getting the longer ones from Mega. I'm just curious what they can actually do.

You are such a tease Lutach! If you mean a motor, just make sure you have a 12s capable esc with proportional brakes to offer with it! And make sure it is under 150 bucks for the motor/esc!

If you could do that you would be the man!

nice setup lutach. is there a different mega you'd recommend? what mAh are the batts and what runtime do you get with them? when you said, "the pinion and spur are outta whack," you weren't kidding. it sounds like me stepping on a bag of potato chips.

I only use the ACn22/30/2, beacause I got a good deal on it. I'm planning on getting a ACn22/50/1, but the ACn22/45/1E will also be good. Those lipos are 2200mAh and I got 23 minutes already out of them. That truck is tough, I ran it in a large parking lot at a park and lost signal. It went straight into a curb. The Flight Power is good, but ask Mike if he can get the Polyquest XQ with a 30C discharge or the Flight Power EVO30.
