It's possible one of the connectors is bad. It has done it from day one so I doubt it's dirt but it could be a bad solder joint. The motor connectors look good though as I checked those the other day and the deans is new too.

Any specs on that ESC? Voltage, current, USB programmability, etc?

It looks inticing. Comparable to the Quark 33a perhaps would be my guess.

so far the only info I've found is from rcuniverse:
- 35a continous, no info on surge.
- castle link programable (you need the small receiver lead connector)
- no info on voltage. I'm assuming similar specs to the mamba 25.

ok, here's the kicker. A dude from rcu spoke to a castle rep today. Supposedly the new line of mamba 1/18th motors will be based off a Neu Motors design. This is not directly from me.

I actually just called castle and got snubbed by their rep.
So far all he can say is, "It is not an official product yet, and we'll keep you updated". He did hint that it was in the works, and a we'll know more after they release the MMM.

Ok, off topic, but kinda sad. The MMM release date has been pushed back to early/mid April. The rep told me they were having trouble getting components from one of their suppliers and this has caused a 6 week delay.

I guess they will make the Sidewinder micro a replacement for the Mamba.

Crap, if my memory serves me right, last year during the winter, they said the same damn thing. "Early April", so many of us waited. Then it was, "late August" I think....and we waited. Well, last summer came and went, still no MMM.
