I'm looking for a more all round use tire. Bowties and crimefighters are gone in a blink of an eye on pavement. Any ideas?

The badlands seem to be a good all around tire dude. I just bought a set last week, and they are beefy. Sjcrss can contest to that as well.

On a side note, the only thing about them that I don't know is if they balloon badly. Anyone know if they need to be taped or not? I had no need to tape my MTR's at all. But not sure about the badlands....

tires for BL emaxx - 02.16.2008, 12:17 AM

i washed and scuffed the inside before using the gorilla tape. been running the Proline crimefighters for months and no ballooning. works like a charm. only problem is that the crimefighters, like mentioned above, is pathetic on pavement. all the tread is basically gone only after a couple of months.

i too am thinking of another set. i love the traxxas talons i had on before, but the sidewalls just couldn't hold up to 8xl on 5s. started tearing at the beads. was thinking of going with 40 series road rage or proline mashers. anyone has experience with these?
