Hey welcome. Always good to see someone new bring some knowledge from another area of rc here.

Just curious where you got that buggy? It was mine at one point. I recognize the motor mount and battery tray and revo suspension push rod rear chassis supports. It was my first conversion a couple years ago. I built it and was immediately hooked on the 1/8 brushless and wanted to upgrade. I only ran it a couple times and then it sat for a year or so. I sold it to another member around her some time ago when they were looking to get into 1/8 brushless stuff. Then later I saw it on ebay and then who knows where it went. I just think its funny that it keeps popping up for me.

Sure doesn't look like its seen much run time since it left me. It still looks brand new.

Is that an XL can motor or an L can. It might just be the picture angle but that looks short to be an XL. What wind motor is it and what voltage are you planning to run? If that is the sentilon esc I am curious to hear your feedback on how it runs in the buggy. That thing is good for 12s right?

The Feigao finned can motors are better than the plain can motors as far as heat and durability, but they still have a tendency for the front bell to pop loose when landing a big jump or in a crash. The down side is you can't use the RCM motor clamp/heatsink on it to keep it together. But it should be fine as long as you don't get to crazy with beating on it.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

Silent...But Deadly

Bought it on Ebay with enough spare parts to build another buggy , this unit doesn't look like it has ever been run , everything is virtualy brand new and the Feigao is a 9L - 2731rpm/volt . I will run it on 12cells NIMH until I upgrade to a Neu motor then it will be either a 5c1p5000 or 6c1p5000 lipo pack ...have lots of them

I wanted a 1/8 buggy to fart around with when I am not boating , eventualy I will put in a 1515/1y or maybe even a 1521/1y to liven things up . When you mentioned upgrading what would be a great choice to upgrade from the Ofna Ultra

The sentilon is a 12c lipo/ 100amp unit , we have had great luck with them on RumRunners forum , exellent deal for the money and tough units but I will for sure post how it works in the buggy , that little Feigao shouldn't even fizz on it
