Man, I missed a lot of stuff in this post-it is moving fast!
Yes, I can and will get the blue wanderer motors, including the 7xl and many other winds. The difference between these and the eigaos I currently carry is the bearings(and the color!). The Feigaos have a low quality bearing(not that it wears out, it is simply a low cost bearing), while the wanderer has a better bearing. The difference in Kv is simply that Feigao states the value without a load, while BK states the value under a load. The motor are the same, so the kv value is the same.
The 7xl will out perform the xl3100, squee, simply because it is bigger and can more easily push the heavy maxx around. It can and will achieve the same or greater speed with the approprite gearing.
For the money, the Feigao/wanderer motors are tough to beat. The segmented rotors(upcoming) will be the icing on the cake, as they will run cooler in our car/truck applications(better efficiency at partial throttle). The current Feigao/lehner basic motors don't have the segmented magnet and therefore run a bit hot compared to the high end Lehner motors(19 series, for example). The 7xl is big and strong, and can take a lot of punishment compared to the smaller motors(without the segmeneted magnets), simply because the can dissipate more heat and have the torque to move the heavy trucks without working up a sweat like the smaller motors do.
