It's a beautiful setup, looks well balanced, and has manual brakes which, imo, are the only way to go for racing. Great for those who aren't ahead of the curve and are starting from scratch. However, for those who have been into brushless 1/8 scale conversions it has the same two drawbacks as the their Revo conversion(which I am currently running): 1) the battery tray is too small for 20 or 25c enerland cell packs and 2) imo, the clutch is much more of a pita than it is helpful. The best thing about it is that it will undoubtedly bring more folks into the 1/8 scale electric game and expedite the point in time where every track has plenty of racers to field 1/8 scale electric classes.
Good job Tekno!

Looks very nice. Great chassis layout. Very polished looking kit. I wounder if the MMM will fit on the esc platform and still have the body go on. I'm beting no. Only 2 things I can see wrong with it. The clutch can go for sure and its on the Losi. If the come out with other brands without a clutch. I will be very interested.

Nice job Tekno.

I can't decide if its more fun

Battery tray can accommodate 150mmL x 50mmW x variable H. This will accommodate a lot of packs, but you are correct, the longer cells will have some issues. You could always cut away the back portion to run longer packs, we've done that for a few of our prototypes. A longer battery tray for the truggies may not be out of the question either.
