Fried Quark 125B - 05.24.2008, 05:32 PM

I had just installed some new gears in my G3R Revo and some 1/8th diffs. I had previously been running stock diffs with 16/52 gearing. When i first switched to 1/8th diffs i ran the same gearing as before and was jumping it off the dirt pile at Monster Mikes! It was running great and staying cool. Came home and ran it till the packs died which was around 25min. I than installed my new gears which were 22/46. I charged up my 2 2s 5000mah Neu Power packs and put emm in the truck and she was ready for some speed runs on the road! I brought her out there and did about three passes and she was running good. After 1.5min - 2min passed i checked the temperature (with my finger) the motor was cold and the speed-o was a little warmer than before which was to be expected. So with that done i kept running and went for about another 3min when the brakes locked at full speed and sent the truck flipping through the air about 10 time to land back on its wheels! I walked over to check her out when she started to smoke! That was the end of that fun!
So if anyone can help me get in contact with Quark to get a replacement that would be great!

Thanks, Trever

SKY Technologies has been absent lately in the states so good luck with your search, DickyT had the same problem he fried his 125b, I would just write it off as a loss and go with an MMM or since you are running 4s you could get away with a MM
