My E-Maxx on 4s TrakPowers with a Neu 1515 1y runs fine. It actually feels a little slow. No heat problems.

I run a new emaxx on 4s (2 trakpowers) with a mm and a plett maxximum. Not sure on the gearing, think it is 20/65. Mine runs around 40mph and has plenty of power, temps are not to bad, maybe 160 on the motor and 140 on the esc.

I could but stock a larger pinion won't fit with out dremeling the motor plate or motor fins.

Cool - good to hear so may people running with good success on 4S.

I think I am a little tainted as my last 4S experience was with the MaxAmps packs, which have since been aggressively sold. ;)

Still have the 1512 2.5d, so maybe I'll have to give that another try on 4S with some batter packs and see what happens -

No need to touch the motor to put a bigger pinion on, just the motor plate. I know I've said something about this to you in another thread quite a while ago and I surprised you still haven't spent a whole 5 minutes with a dremel or even a small file to get your top end speed back after putting the 1/8th diffs in.
Get it done!
