My rant is this... I constantly lose wheel nuts, because traxxas in all their wisdom, decided to make the stub axles with JUST enough thread, I don't understand how hard it would have been to make the threads even 1/8" longer. But you know, whatever, I'll locktite the nuts on I suppose.

My main problem is this, because my wheel nuts were a bit loose, I jumped it and cracked a rim. No biggie right? WRONG... Apparently these 2.8" rims are like gold around here and for the life of me I can't get ahold of any. I just find it a bit ironic that this truck is real popular around, even say for a beginner, yet a rim is stupidly hard to find.

Well thats my rant, I feel a bit better now.

I use the Traxxas locking flanged wheel nuts on my Rustler and Revo I havnt had a problem since, but after the first time that ever happened to me I brought the wrench and a package of wheel nuts with me and check every now and than for tightness
