The medusa's are quite a bit smaller than the neu. I think they are good motors but you will need the 2000kv on 6s geared for 40-45 for it to be reliable. I suffered heat issues all around with the 1500kv in my maxx. I had to gear my 1500kv down to around 32-33 mph for the heat to stay in check. But we also have 98+ ambient temps in Houston with very high humidity, most of the time 80% and more. Cooler climate setups may have better luck. This does tell me one thing though and that the medusa's in a monster truck are going to be a very gearing sensitive setup.

Great motors, and I think the 70 and 80 mm versions will be excellent for bigger vehicles but I think the 60mm is better suited to a buggy.
