Mechanical Brakes and gearing limits on an MBX5 - 07.01.2008, 08:56 PM

Does anyone know the smallest pinion you can run using mikes plate and a 46 and or 48 tooth spur on an mbx5?

Geared 16/46 running a Neu 1512 2d/f and mgm 16018, the esc got a little hotter than i wanted it to. Motor braking didn't help either. I'm going to try adding the mechanical brakes and gearing down and want to get the smallest one i can get!

Mike has a front motor cover that will help with gearing options with mech brakes

Select the .25" brake spacer from the drop down when ordering
