A declared value is only needed if the item was being sold. Not for repair. Have you seen that some places don't ship to Brasil anymore. Customs there is a joke. I only ship to Brasil if my customers really insist and are ready to pay up to 100% or more for duties. You can add as much insurance tat you want incase anything is lost or damaged, but you have to declare "No commercial value", because you are not selling it.

Thanks so much for clearing this up. Must say I never really ship anything overseas. Perhaps Grisa should update his shipping instructions to say this, I like this so much better.
