Sorry - haven't been around to update thread - been busy getting married and vacationing for the past month - no complaints about being satisfied with the decision, but that certainly sucked a full month of RC time out of the summer - I can't even remember which batteries of mine are charged right now and my CRT.5 has had a busted front turnbuckle for almost a month as well.

I got the 2250 and it is definitely a big motor - but not that big really. It's probably about as long as a 1521 and maybe just a touch thicker. After looking through some large scale build threads around the net it seems that this motor might not be up to the task of pushing a 25lb buggy around.

The higher end 2-stroke gas motors seem to be pushing 6-8HP and the continuous rating on the 2250 seems to be around 3000 watts which is only ~4HP. A lot of guys on the heli and boat threads talking about burning out 2250's very quickly on 8S - 10S even hitting only about 2500 watts. I find that surprising for the boats with the water-cooled jackets.

I'm thinking I would need something more torquey (sp? not sure if that's even a word ) in the realm of a 30xx (LMT) or a 2215/2230 (Neu) to be able to handle that kinda weight.
