Yeah I would just make the hole a bit larger. Not to large, or that would negate the point of the cover, of course.

ok i will take a pic of it to show you. it was made this month.
here are some small pics... stupid PHONE! i will get better ones later. hopefully you can see whats happening. used a reamer, very soft, and smooth plastic... great to work with. better than a drill as i have more control... mike will have to update his files again i guess. also now its pretty loose, what do you guys attach it on with? i dont wanna stick it  unless i really have to.
