I wonder what diameter this "720 size" motor is (hopefully that nomenclature is not just a marketing scheme, and really denotes a larger-than-540 diameter size). If it's the same diameter as a Dewalt 700 motor....that'd be SICKENING torque.

In fact, that size motor would probably be ideal for these conversions; far less stress on the motor with such a large potential rotor.
On rc groups, in the Neu motors section, there is a thread where someone refers to a 19 series neu as a 720. I'll see if i can find it. If true, WOW!!! the torque.

found it http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=900834

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

This kit looks cool. I just picked up a losi 8 kit roller that is super clean. I was going to use a rcp motor mount and make the rest myself, but the losi setup looks too nice to pass up...

I will run a hacker and a MM in mine, alot cheaper than the losi setup. Nice to see more stuff available in the larger scale brushless dept.

Holy CRAP! While I think this is going to be a sickening amount of torque, I think it'll be good for conversions and monster trucks. Less strain on the motor possibly. With that, maybe this setup will run nice and cool with no problems at all while still pushing buggies to 40-45mph easily?

So let's recap what we supposedly know about this motor; 19 series sized, 4 poles, and low kv. The description "torque monster" comes to mind....
