I think we may see the price point come down in the near future. About a year or two ago, you really didnt see many mainstream brushless conversations except on this site. Now, even on the Traxxas site, there are probably about 40% running some form of brushless. Competition will drive that price down. But until someone else offers a plug and play setup, they are still the only game in town in that regard. CC's offering, once they get it to actually run, will likley be a much better system for the money.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES

Yep, the novak is the only plg and play setup, so it will still be popular. They are adding some features to the esc, so the value is getting better.

Hopefully the CC MMM combo will drive the price down a bit on the novak esc. That way I could buy one and finally run my hv6.5r motor that does not like the MM... I need to do more testing whith that motor, but it really likes to cog with the MM. I may have a bad esc, so I will have to try a different MM

Personally, I have enough driving under my belt that a vehicle that does less than 35mph is boring, and I have most of my collection geared for 45mph now.
See,but thats just it,45 is plenty fast, and if mine didn't do that I would not be happy either. But my older 4.5 pushes my Erevo to 47 geared 14/68,and has done it with no problems.Everytime I plug it in it goes.
