And when you get tiered of bashing /racing it, you can then convert it to a battle truck..

Seriously if you have this Truggy, the greatest improvement you can do (IMHO) is add the 808 shocks, it / they make all the difference in the world..

Well I can't speak to all of the others but I can talk a little about the XT8 and the CRT. My first conversion was the CRT Pro and it was a nice vehicle, but I would say the handling was the downside. The XT8 just handles every aspect of racing better. Turn in, bumps, jumps, everything. Now, I can't speak to the new CRT X2 - maybe that takes care of all those things.

Otherwise I would say Xray's quality is just better too. Although I found the CRT to be very durable. Anyone else want to add to that?
