I will be honest im new to large scale myself! (this being my 1st ever) but learning by the day so will answer the best i can!

ok about the questions..

how long do those engines last?
Very long i believe, they are basically the same as the engines thats used in garden strimmers etc, & we all know how long they last :-)

Is the 4wd conversion out for it yet?
Nope :-( But apparantely its completed & been tested etc, no idea on release date or price, but rumour has it anytime now! :-)

is the engines reallly loud compared to nitrO?
At the mo mine has no tuned pipe, so basically its just got a metal thin tube looking thing ugly tbh!) the noise level i would say is probably slightly quieter than my 2 nitro 21. engines, but with a tuned pipe it will probably be slightly louder, however you can also buy Silencers for the tuned pipes...only probelm is they look ugly/bulky! ...but just around the corner is tuned pipes with built in exhausts such as one that Jetpro is releasing so im waiting for one of them before i get a tuned pipe :-)

When you run your truck. Then you stop and put it up. Does it smell like gasoline?
I too was worried about this (infact it was my main concern when i was thinking of getting one) ...the problem with gas, if you spill any the smell stays for a LONG time unless its cleaned up, so as long you keep on-top of cleaning up any spilt fuel you will have no probs with smell, unlike nitro which when spilt smells of...nothing!

ive ran my truck a few times & the only smell of gas is from the exhaust & i love that smell tbh! :-) the only time you smell the gas strong is when re-filling due to obvious reasons! ...on my last run i didnt have time to finish the gas in the tank (was about 1/4 left) & it was dark so i had to bring it home with gas in the tank, Its now right besides me on a table & not 1 smell of gas :-)

I wouldn't recommend storing it with gas due to safety reasons though, only reason why its besides me is ive been doing some work to it :-)

Also some people dont use normal unleaded gas/fuel, they use the same fuel thats used in camping stoves (cant remember the name?), apparantly it works almost just as well & doesnt have the smell of normal unleaded fuel, the downside is at top end & idle they sometimes have probs with stalling, ive not used it & dont intend to, as im happy with the gas, only worry i had with the gas was the smell, but so far no probs :-)

Hope this helps :)
