I hope it gets bellow 2.0 sec. as I heard it's a little difficult. I'm also going to do some practice runs with my TC3 on 2S lipos. I have the Orion 2.5T in there now and lets see if the Hobbywing Xerun 120A will be ok afterwards.

Hope all goes well , once you have tested a few set ups i'll see what esc you recommend for my 2s speed pan car .

What kv is that Orion 2.5t you are using , i found it in a few stores but no info or specs . Does it have more than the LRP 3.5t at 9800kv ?

I will use either one in my speed car to fine tune the cars handling and for me to get use to speed runs before i look at a faster set ups.

Ok found it on RC Tech forum , 13800kv for the Orion 2.5t . Next question what pinion range should i look at for this motor in the pan car with a 48p 72T spur gear ?

Thank you for the Kv info as I wasn't sure . I had my pan car doing 80mph with 19/72 and I was using my Aveox RC7 motor and a L160 with 3S lipos. It could've went faster, but it was freaking scary. I have gone faster with my other pan cars, but that one still is my pride and joy with the Dale Earnhardt body one it. Not very aerodynamic body, but it looks awesome.

That's great to know , what kv is the Aveox RC7 . Trying to work out what rpm you were spinning on 3S as if it's similar to the Orion on 2s i will gear very similar with 19/72, pitty i only have pinions from 22t - 26t i will have to buy a couple more.. 80mph is plenty for me to get started as i haven't gone over 60mph before

I'll get use to that and how the car needs to be set up and feels and will then try and go faster .

The RC7 motor has a little over 4000Kv. Your 22-26T pinion will be nice .

What are you going to get? I'd go for a buggy if you don't have one already.

Get me back into RC!
